In 2012 Silver Goddess Boutique, a Rockin’ Jewelry store, opened in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. Think love child of Hard Rock Cafe and Tiffany’s . At the time I was looking for super unique, stylish and affordable products to offer my customers. Enter Kameleon! I have to admit that selling Kameleon is the easiest part of my job. From the start I have been confident that this Jewelry would be very well received. In fact I hoped to show my future customers just that, by flying in the then, National Sales Manager, Chad Hollahan for the Grand Opening. My customers have in turn shown their confidence in Silver Goddess and Kameleon. So much so that it became an obvious choice to invest in the Shop in Shop level, which I must tell you has been an incredible experience.
Kameleon is a very well branded product with a ton of exciting and engaging things to do with it, it’s very common to see me hosting an event in conjunction with a new release or approaching holiday. Last October I hosted a Breast Cancer fundraiser in store, Titz ‘N Glitz. I donated $5 for every Pink JewelPop I sold plus had a selection of the Breast Cancer JewelPops on hand for purchase. I am excited to make this an annual event.
Not only is Kameleon well branded and well designed but I find that their customer service is the best in the industry. When I need them they are there for me, I can then, in turn, be there for my customers. I love giving my customers all the options that Kameleon offers in a stylish and often, a very meaningful way. We all love the loyalty program that Kameleon offers, it’s fun to add to your “addiction” and be rewarded for it! I have all the confidence in the world in the company and so do my wonderful customers, without them and this fantastic Jewelry line, Silver Goddess Boutique would still be a dream on a shelf. Thankfully it is not, it is something exciting and changing constantly, just like Kameleon, after all “Change is Natural”!

We are Where Fredericksburg Gets Engaged and while we are not the biggest or oldest jewelry store in Fredericksburg, Virginia we try our hardest to be the most fun. We also take whatever amount of time is necessary to help each customer who visits us find or create what they are looking for. We treat all our customers like they are a part of our family, whether it is their first visit or their one thousandth.
We will celebrated our 22nd anniversary on September 1st. What started as a first year anniversary event is not looked forward to by all our customers. Typically this is a Friday and Saturday event, the weekend after Labor Day each year and features, prizes, surprises, refreshments and lots of fun. We also participate in the annual Downtown Holiday Open House event on the second Saturday and Sunday in November. We are participants in the Itty Bitty City scavenger hunt each summer and take part in the Holiday Riddle Contest each November and December. We contribute store gift certificates to downtown contests and events to be used as prizes.
We have customers on our customer list from under five years old to 80 years or older and we try to appeal in some way to all. We carry fancy colored diamonds, and fun jewelry like Kameleon. We have more than 5000 customer records in our database and we know almost all of them by name.
We originally saw Kameleon at the Philadelphia gift show about 7 years ago and were attracted to it then. But we couldn’t get together with our rep and with other things going on it went to the back burner. About four years ago we decided to find out about it and bring the line into the store. We felt then, and still feel now, that it is a fun line with the potential to be great for customers and great for us. We were right! We have been very happy with Kameleon. The product is great. It often sells itself. All the people we have worked with, from our rep to the folks in the main office have been friendly and very helpful. We tell all our other jeweler friends and some friends we know who have gift shops if they can get the line to do it now. They won’t be sorry, If you can get the line, get it … now! We have several repeat Kameleon customers who buy several hundreds of dollars worth each year. They love it!
